Best Van Life Blogs 2024
The inclination of a van owner to document their travels isn’t new.
As the years go by, the desire to document van travel continues. Why do we van dwellers feel the need to chronicle our proceedings? Why must we share our voyages with the world? There is no simple answer to this question. But perhaps to remember. To remember and to share the joy of our experience with others. Perhaps hoping that sharing our joy will bring others the same joy we feel. But will it? Probably not, as research suggests. How could it be possible to feel the same joy as the guy in the photo above while you’re not there with him? While you’re instead on your way to work without the same great view he has? I would imagine this would elicit more envy than anything else. I’ve been on the train heading to work one too many times while scrolling through Instagram looking at people posing in front of less grainy scenes than this one. Beautiful scenes and beautiful people, while I gaze out of a translucent LIRR window, barely able to make out where I am. Until I hear the conductor announce that we are pulling into Jamaica and that I need to transfer promptly to make it to work on time.
But what if you could harness the envy and use it as inspiration? Inspiration to get out there yourself and experience the splendor of the world. That’s exactly what these ten van life travel bloggers did.
